Viele werden es nicht wissen, aber „Johnny Rotten“, der berühmte Hauptdarsteller des filmischen Meilensteins „Copkiller“, hat nicht nur als Schauspieler bleibenden Eindruck hinterlassen, sondern nebenher auch immer Musik gemacht. So war er unter seinem ulkigen Pseudonym in den Siebzigern wohl für eine Kapelle namens Sex Pistols tätig, bevor er später endlich unter seinem bürgerlichem Namen John Lydon  und dem Banner Public Image Limited (kurz: PIL) einige neue Mitstreiter um sich scharte, um beispielsweise mit einem Liedchen wie „Warrior“ Mickey Rourkes Mopedfahrten in „Wilde Orchidee“ musikalisch zu untermalen.

Wenn sie sich auf einen fetzigen Samstagabend im Ruhrpott freut, sieht die sympathische Truppe, die fürs werte Bochumer Publikum jede Menge schwungvoller Songs wie „Rise“ und „This Is Not A Love Song“ im Gepäck hat, übrigens so aus:
